The True Leader for the better country
Born in a humble Maharashtrian family on January 30, 1951 in Pune, Prakash Javadekar was influenced by the work of RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) and became its member.Thereafter, he worked for the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party which led him towards path of more than 50 years of Public Life. During all this time he has played various roles in the Party and the Government and shouldered all the responsibilities with utmost sincerity and dedication.

Joined Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Organized several Students’ Movements under the ABVP in various capacities

Elected as Senate member of Pune University

Organized Satyagraha against the Emergency rule and imprisoned for 16 months at Yerawada jail

Released from Jail
Campaigned for Janata Party candidate Shri Mohan Dharia during Lok Sabha Elections in Pune.

Worked in the tribal areas of Thane district of Maharashtra for revival of Development projects launched by the Bank of Maharashtra.

Resigned from the Bank of Maharashtra to work as a fulltime ‘Karyakarta’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
